Window Rot - Not sure what to do
I have some painters in at the moment and one of the (20 Year old) Cedar window sashes has started to rot.
The beading it around the glass needs replacing (easy) but the timber under it has just started to "Go" as in it is soft and spongy....
If I could stop it rotting any further it would probably be OK but I am not sure how to stop it ?
It it still in 1 piece and reasonably solid and would not need much patching.
Any ideas ?
Thanks
Greg
