Repairing power socket holes in skirting board and architraves
Hi there renovators
I have recently had my 1940s house re-wired, and all the old light switches and power sockets have been removed from the skriting boards and architraves they had been cut into and will be placed into cut-outs in the palster board instead.
Now I'm looking to fill the holes left behind in the wooden skirting and architraves - any tips on the best way to tackle this?? Most holes I would say are about 5 x 5cm. I'll be paiting over the patched hole, so a smooth finish is desireable.
Any advice would be much appreciated!!
Thanks
