    Default A dating site?

To settle a debate I am presently having with my partner, all amicable I might say.

Do the woodworking women, or men, use this site with an secondary agenda of finding a partner.

Well, if any early twenties girls with an interest in woodwork, physics, history, comedy and aeroplanes joins by all means let me know!

Other than that, no. Prime purpose here is to soak up as much knowledge out of the rest of you as I can -evil grin-

Not me either. In fact yesterday I celebrated our 33 years wedding anniversary with my wonderful wife and hope to have another 33 years as well.

Too happily married here for it even to have crossed my mind.
The other day I described to my daughter how to find something in the garage by saying "It's right near my big saw". A few minutes later she came back to ask: "Do you mean the black one, the green one, or the blue one?".

I'm not married but I've been loving the same woman for 12 years and not about to stop. If I lost her I would bother with another I think.

Really must get round to marrying her one day...

Odd thing to ask. I don't think any of the forums I frequent are used for picking up, but then maybe it all goes over my head...

Maybe Neil could extract from the database how many females there are on this forum as opposed to males (do you have to specify your sex when you sign up?). But, to preempt the result, I think the ratio would be about 5% females to 95% males. Therefore my chances of picking up (if the minister for everything approved such a notion) would be appallingly low.

So, to answer your question, I have to state the question itself is mind numbingly pointless.

Judging by the number of debates and amount of stress over which shade of chartreuse/cornflower/cerulean a wall should be painted to maintain correct feng shui, coupled with the relative dearth of practical advice, the home one forums seem to be overflowing with estrogen fuelled posters.

You could try them as a sly pick up medium, as long as you can put up with the threads related to sofa locations and how to fluff cushions.

I received a PM from one female forum member who said she wanted to have my children. I gladly gave her their addresses.

I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.

    Priceless.

We moved interstate while our children were overseas, but on their return they still found us and now reside in the same state: One of them in the same town: Make that the same house.

Woodwork Forums for pick up? I think there would be better vehicles out there. (Ferrari, Porsche even Jaguar) Heresay of course.
