Restoring a rocking chair
Hi All,
I'm completely new to furniture restoration, but hope not to be forever (apologies in advance). I thought I'd start with something cheap and simple. I picked up this rocking chair which I was hoping to make look presentable.
Any ideas what kind of wood it would be made of? It is made in Japan (stamped on based) not sure of when.
I would love some tips on how others would approach restoring this piece. I'm not too worried about wasting time etc, as it's really just a project for fun and to see how it turns out.
