Something to do with autosomes I think which gives us all certain common things, males and females. I dont think they are initially a sexual thing, that developes after the foetus reaches a certain stage. I have heard of cases however of male breasts producing milk but I think this was due to some overall imbalance in the genes in those instances.

There is no clear reason why men have them as far as i know. The aoutosomes I mentioned previously ensure features before birth like rectum, eyes, voice, etc as well as nipples which are common to both genders.
Maybe it was Eve who lost the rib and not Adam
Cant honestly say Ive ever found much use for mine but my wife's bras do fit me so it cuts down on the housekeeping
