G'day all, I am a new member here so let me introduce myself, my name is Glenn and I live in WA, I am a boilermaker by trade and love making furniture with natural look timber and wrought iron, I also like to do freehand relief carving of bush timbers that I collect myself, will post some pics when I work out how to do! I have recently aquired several slabs of assorted timber that intend to bring back to life as they have been stored for 15 years in a mates dads shed, I have just prepared a 2.8m x 600mm African Mohogany slab,by sanding back to 400 grit then applying 3 coats of Cabots danish oil, looks great already, Q. what do I apply now to give it that great finish as this will be the top to a buffet in my lounge, I have been advised to use Feast and Watson furniture polish which I believe is wax based, any sugestions would be greatly appreciated as I have not a clue what is best for this job.
Cheers Glenn.
