School yard games
My daughter works in a school and was telling me about the latest school yard games:
Roshambo - Where two boys face off and kick each other in the nuts to see who hurts the most and the last man standing wins.
Dead arm - Punch each other in the arm until the arm won't work any more, then it is the other fellows turn to punch his opponents arm, my daughter tells me that nerve damage is common.
In my day at school a fast game of cricket or footy was enough. Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I´m not so sure about the universe.

In this day and age two questions come to mind. Firstly is there any supervision and secondly, how long will it be before some parent takes the school/education dept to court and sues for damages?
Cheers,
Jim

Your daughter must work in South Park.

Who cares?... I did some pretty stupid things when I was a kid and I'm pretty sure my kids will as well. Some of the things I hear my Dad & his brother used to do to each other amaze me and their sister was even worse
It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.

I remember one day we were in line waiting to get on a bus for an excursion. My best mate and I were hitting each other in the arm/shoulder. We stopped when he fractured mine.
We used to punch the brick walls of the school buildings and eventually made quite a big hole. Some sizeable dings in the steel exterior frame aswell.
One of the school heroes rode his skateboard down a hill along a 4 lane road, trouble is the lights half way down changed at the wrong time. He was lucky, he made it UNDER the truck that was crossing the intersection as he flew through.
Then we got motorcycles....and better drugs...
Of course this was just playing, far more dangerous was the knife fights we got into with the local lebanese gangs.
