Diggers made it the last time I was looking for it. I think they called it wood cleaner or something like that. It's the only thing that will get hardwood stain off concrete that I know of. I got it from a hardware place.

Oxalic Acid used to be available at good paint places.

Use a 10% solution in water with usual precautions re eyes and protective clothing

I'm fairly sure that my local Bunnies had oxalic acid in the paint sundries (turps, acetone, xylene, tricleanium) section last time I was there.

Hi Jake, this is the one to look for. From Bunnings, cannot remember the price but it was cheap. I made my own deck cleaner from it for about 1/20 of the mixed product's price.
    it's 100% oxalic acid crystals

Not almonds. I think they have arsenic. Apples do! Anything that makes the pot CLEANER when you cook it!

Almonds do so too... but not apples.

    Foods that contain oxalates
The following are some examples of the most common sources of oxalates, arranged by food group. It is important to note that the leaves of a plant almost always contain higher oxalate levels than the roots, stems, and stalks.

    • Fruits
      • blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, currants, kiwifruit, concord (purple) grapes, figs, tangerines, and plums

    • Vegetables (see Table 1 for additional information)
      • spinach, Swiss chard, beet greens, collards, okra, parsley, leeks and quinoa are among the most oxalate-dense vegetables
      • celery, green beans, rutabagas, and summer squash would be considered moderately dense in oxalates

    • Nuts and seeds
      • almonds, cashews, and peanuts

    • Legumes
      • soybeans, tofu and other soy products

    • Grains
      • wheat bran, wheat germ, quinoa (a vegetable often used like a grain)

    • Other
      • cocoa, chocolate, and black tea

    Cliff.
