Dickson Toolpost Brochure
Philip " Metalman" generously provided me with an original which I have scanned for those that may be interested.
I use a Swiss BONI toolpost on my Hercus. It would be interesting to find out if any of the cheap Chinese Dickson copy toolholders fit. I will draw one of the original holders and post the drawing here. Maybe someone could make a comparison for me.

I had this sketch in the notebook I took away with me in hope that I would find something in a Swiss flea market. Talk about optimism.

Thanks for that, I'll measure up the ones I've got. And post the results here.
I remember reading somewhere about lack of interchangeability for toolholders, but I can't remember where I read it. I think every maker had their own variant, probably deliberately different so that you are forced to buy their toolholders.
