help needed again
My outlook express contains the the following message (screen printed message) from my virus program Trend micro security.
To be honest I don't know how to open the attachment in text.
I would like to know who or what is sending the message, can anyone please tell me how to proceed.
Also can I just click delete and it goes away?woody U.K.

As for finding out who has sent you the file....check the header of the email. Bear in mind however that many emails with virus attachments have "munged" return addresses..ie the return address has been faked and isnt the address of the person the mail has come from.
For this reason chasing up the person who sent you the mail is a waste of time....just delete the mail and make sure yout machine is protected with decent anti virus software.Whatever note you blow youre never more than a semitone away from the correct one....(Miles Davis)

Thanks for the info,
I took your advice and decided no to find out who sent the mail and deleted same.
I have since worked out where it came from I have a cousin( missionary) in Nigeria and he suffers from hackers etc. so I have not been able to open his post over the last 6 months.
He goes to the British Embassy to send mail but this still does not stop the problem.woody U.K.

Ok, this is an official hi-jack, my box of numbers is sick. I can't post by hitting "post reply" or "Quote". When I do get to the post I can't type anything in the text box??. I'm posting this by the "Quick Reply" as I can't open a new thread...well it opens but I can't type in the box...weird. Where's a real Geek when I need one. I don't know where to start on this one.

If not, get a free copy of Spybot V1.3 & install it & follow the instructions.
If this doesn't work, send me $1527.55 & I'll be there, right after the funds clear.Cliff.
If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.
