Default Service Award for the week.

I normally avoid big hardware stores but they are my nearest so its a toss up between supporting the little guy and dumping extra k's of CO2 into the atmosphere.

Anyway I was driving past the North Lake WA Bunnings store today and stopped in for a few supplies and stumbled across Joe in the paint shop. Pleasant, helpful, suggested a lower priced product in another area of the store and explained the advantages and disadvantages of each, when that was not available he offered to ring other stores to see if they had them and wrote all the details down for me to take to the other store. I haven't see that sort of service at Bunnings since the pommie paint shop guy left the South Perth store about 5 years ago.

So credit where credit is due, and look out for Joe at the NL store.

    Onya Joe

It makes you realise that stores don't have to just sell the best if they know the limitations of their stock and are honest with their customers. Even if you don't buy you'll come back and try them again.
    Cheers,
