Default In Irish antiques dealer in Paris

Sean Murphy, an antiques dealer from Dublin, needed to purchase new stock for his shop, so he decided to go to Paris to see what he could find there.

After arriving in Paris, he attended some auctions and made several good purchases. To celebrate the new acquisitions, he stopped at a small crowded bistro and had a glass of wine. Before long, a beautiful young Parisian girl walked up to his table; asked him something in French (which Murphy couldn't understand); so he motioned to the vacant chair and invited her to sit down.

He tried speaking to her in English, but she did not understand him. After a couple of minutes of trying to communicate with her, he took a napkin and drew a picture of a wine glass and showed it to her. She nodded, so he ordered her a glass of wine.

After sitting together at the table for a while, he took another napkin and drew a picture of a plate with food on it, and she nodded. They left the bistro and found a quiet cafe with a quartet playing romantic music. They ordered dinner, after which he took another napkin and drew a picture of a couple dancing. She nodded, and they got up to dance. They danced late into the night until the band packed up.

Back at their table, the young woman took a napkin and drew a picture of a four-poster bed. To this day, Murphy still has no idea how she figured out he was in the antiques business.

I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.
