My Introduction
Hello Y'All. I am from the US of A, California to be precise. I am a beginning woodworker but I did work on aircraft in sheet metal fabrication for over 25 years so I am not all together ignorant of layout and measurements. Same thing essentially, just different material. Actually I am older than dirt and only spend a few hours a week in my small shop because I do tire easily. I only do small projects such as boxes, clocks and birdhouses that I can build with routers, Dremel tools and hand tools. I have a scroll saw, but I don't use it much because it is one of the most boring things to do I have ever encountered.
Now then, I must say this is my favorite woodworking forum due to the amount of information and the various areas of woodworking that is covered even though the imperial measurements baffle me, but I can refer to my trusty conversion chart if I run across something that I may want to explore.
Thanks again for a great great forum.
