    Default Two day slabbing job

Second day (4 hours) I used the Lucas wide slabbing attachment. It fits my mill well. The mill having a power feed make running the slabs easy. I can even tell when to sharpen by the feed setting.
There were three species, Douglas Fir, Western Red Cedar and Maple (spalted).

It is hard and heavy much like white oak. The slabber likes it!! Much more so than DF.

(posted from my phone so I couldn't see those tinny letters too well, fixed the spelling)
