G'day,
I hope I am a better woodworker than I am a computer operator!!! I hope this is the right place to introduce myself, I live on the banks of the Richmond River in northern NSW, have always had an interest in woodwork, retired a few rears back and still trying to find time to do what I want to do instead of what I have to do. I use a lot of camphor wood in my projects which includes some furniture, jewellery and document boxes clocks etc. My biggest problem is procrastination, when I get a particularly nice piece of wood it takes a long time to make the first cut! (I just have to be sure it's the right project for that piece of wood). Cheers Charlie

Hi. Welcome.
I know what you mean about certain pieces of wood.
Put it to one side until the project comes to you.
If you really want to get lost - try wood turning........

Welcome to the forum, if you take a long time to start does that mean you have stockpiled heaps of wood?

Yes I do have a handy stockpile, mainly 100 mm slabs. I recently had some converted to 19 mm boards for a project. (display case). CharlieB
