G'day from Murwillumbah
Streuth,
I've seen Woodwork forums from time to time but, never realised how large and comprehensive it was.
I'm an ex mechanic, been in and out of metal fabrication since the early 70's.
I've now had my own shop in Murwillumbah since '06 and, before that was working from home.
I'm into steel, aluminium and stainless fab, along with CNC Plasma cutting.
I also dabble in wood from time to time although, metal is my main medium.
I have done a fair amount of metal artwork incorperating timber but, the art side of things has tended to take a back seat as, fabrication tends to pay the bills a bit better....
Hope I can glean a bit of info and impart some as well.
Mick.
