Fast Finishing Mahogany, Purple Heart and Mountain Ash
Hi,
I'm a HSC student doing Industrial Technology Timber. My project is due on Monday.
I have made a jewellery box, its mainly made out of mahogany but it has purple heart around the edges and the drawers are made of mountain ash.
I need a finish but I'm not sure what to use or how. I need it to be quick, I have less than 3 days to have this completely dry and finished or close to finished.
Can anyone please help me?
Thanks, Penguinn

The sponsor's products, EEE Ultrashine and Shellawax, are usually used for turned items, and provide a nearly instant finish. For flatwork, you might use a small buffing wheel on an arbor in a hand-held drill. Watch your speed so you don't overdo it. Although if you do, it's easy to start over.
