I just had a thought ( I promise it will be my first AND last for the year ), why dont we all give gyn a greenie to show him/her/them/it that we all care what he/she/they/it has to say and that we forgive him/her/them/it for a moment of insanity
I try and do new things twice.. the first time to see if I can do it.. the second time to see if I like it

But while he is here, he is depriving a village somewhere.

Poor boy, I don't think his belt goes through all the loops,

His antenna doesn't pick up all the channels

Not the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree

A few peas short of a casserole

Fell out of the stupid tree and hit every branch on the way down

    Chimneys clogged

Doesn't have all his dogs on one leash

    Sewing machines out of thread.

In this forum it should be 'a few teeth missing on the saw blade'

    Red face

Thankyou for all your welcoming and caring messages. I never received any spam until I joined this website and you may all be right that this is not the source. But I do not want to be a member even though I think this is a wonderful source of info - that is why I joined in the first place. I do not change my favourable opinion of the website despite the derogatory comments of many of the posters - I guess you are defending this great website and (if this is not the source and therefore I am wrong) rightly so.

As stated, I tried to contact the administrators 3 times to no effect and hoped this message would delete me and remove this message before the supposed offence I have caused would occur. I never intended to offend anyone here and regret that offence has been taken. I have removed myself from every other forum I have joined and the spam continues (I take every other precaution in other internet use), removal is just is not an option here.

I did not want to change my email address but that is what I now will do.

Take care and in future try not to be too harsh in your judgements as I was not intentionally denigrating this website or it's participants.

    qyn,
I have removed myself from every other forum I have joined and the spam continues
I have read your post ....... but i have to say just because you delete forums doesnt mean thet the Spam will stop
once those people (i use the term people loosely ) have you email they never stop

so you see blaming this forum is the wrong thing to do ..... i am sorry it has made you resort to this form of action as i have never had spam from the site
but i suppose i do have a spam filter
most spam is generated by programs hitting sever by sever so you will never be trully save

I have a number of email addresses. I've gotten spam for an email address that I've never used. The bastards will get you no matter what you do.

Instead of changing email addresses, why not try mailwasher (free) and change from Outlook Express to Thunderbird. That solution has cut out most of it for me. mailwasher bounces moist of it back automatically. If you use the internet, even a new email address will eventually get out there.
