Interesting .... I have been a member since 2001 and haven't received any spam mail at all .... the only emails from this board are to notify me of private messages from other members which I think I can turn off if I wanted to.

Yes, me to, no spam at all. As if this is the only place you get it from - get a life and wake up idiot - me thinks it's some sort of trick.

I get an email every time some reply to a thread that I've subscribed to. Every time I post to a thread I am automatically subscribed to that thread. I can turn this off if I want.

As far as receiving spam through this board you're talking cr*p, no one else has.

I was going to write a reply but decided that you were too cretinous to understand anything I said.

The term 'grammar nazi' was invented to make people, who don't know their grammar, feel OK about being uneducated.

Same as above. I've been on this BB since 1999 and never once have I received any spam  . (I feel quite deprived !)
I do have a thingy in the system which filters all incoming stuff. I think it's part of Norton anti-virus. (But what would I know?  )Jack the Lad.

If you have a look at the only 2 other posts this goose has contributed to these forums (Nov. 2004) I think you'll see the massive contribution we are now going to miss out on in the future. A vast knowledge-bank of woodworking ideas, helpful posts and general brotherly type love is leaving. How can we go on ?
