G'day from Waiheke, NZ
Hi all, just stumbled acroos the forum looking for info on epoxy resin and filling knot holes and looks like a heap of usefull info here so thought I would join up.
I am originally from Canberra, born and breed for 36 years, but married a kiwi and she wanted to fly home so ended up on a little island just off Auckland, Waiheke Island. Talk about about paradise.
I am a builder here with far too little time to indulge my furniture making interest, until retirement that is Anyway hoping to pick some brains soon on sander choices and finishing techniques for a few little projects in the wind.
Thanks

Thanks Justin.
I have been here for 5.5 years and really have not had a day out of work. In saying that, there are a lot of locals that suffer due to the preference of fishing on a calm day or surfing on a rough one, which does not leave a lot of time for work , but I guess that is why some people move to the island, lifestyle over employment, helps me heaps .
I do tend to cop a bit of rubbish about moving this side and not staying in Aus to make the millions everyone over thinks we make back home , not sure where that exactly is, I never found it . Also get nailed over the Wallabies and Tri-Nations perfomance but I say we are saving ourselves the the World Cup...
