Hi David,
I lightened up the photo a bit - it looks like your camera is underexposing.
Anyway I assume that is just the top?
Looks good.

No havent started the legs yet been a bit busy with work and i havent got the timber yet

I made the top first because l am not very experienced at furniture making, i will make the base and legs first on the next one. I am very happy with the top, as myself and a mate milled the timber a couple of years ago.I am always amazed at what can come from a crappy looking old log. marri timber has a lot of gum vein which a lot of people fill with black coloured filler,i filled this one with clear to show all the gum veins and imperfections.
