Con-Census
Its that time again, the time we all have to stand up and be counted, Census.
What sort of wacky questions this time?
What use is the Census these days anyway, with all the boat refugees landing or does the Gov estimate we will have a further 10,000 before the next Census to get the facts they need.
What sort of questions do you think should be in the Census.
ie What lathe/s do you own
what planes

Don't understand the objections to the census. Never have.
Some questions might appear inane but it all comes out in the wash. The collected data is a great tool for planning.

Dear Art,
Well, they must have left said "tool" off the Ute and back in the Shed up here, because they don't seem to have planned for anything . There's not enough (henceforth to be abbreviated to "n.e.") Hospital-Beds, n.e. Nurses, n.e. Doctors, n.e. Dental Clinics, n.e. Nursing Homes, n.e. Ambulances, n.e. Roads, n.e. Water, n.e. Electricity, n.e. Police, n.e. Jails, n.e. Emergency Response Teams, n.e. Public Housing, etc, etc, etc...
No offence Art, but I reckon your average Pollie couldn't plan a good krap in his dunny, (with or without the help of the census...), let alone how to run the State or Country. They've proved it up here, that's for sure. They seem to only think ahead for a maximum of two terms - ie. the amount of time that it takes them to qualify for that unbelievable "Super" package that they get...
But I guess they can use the answers from it this time around to try to work out how to gainfully employ another 20 to 30 million migrants apparently over the next couple of decades, whilst somehow avoiding a 2nd or 3rd-World-style outcome without the essential prerequisite of an IR policy in place that will actually make us competitive in the Manufacturing industry. I can't stop scratching my head on that one...
Best Wishes,
Batpig.

You are so right Bat Pig!! I simply sais it was a tool.
Didn't say the polies knew how to use it, or even would.
Also provides a good set of excuses for things that don't pan out.
