Universal white tint for Shellac?

Hi, I'm trying to locate a good universal white tint I can mix with Shellac to achieve a white painted look on timber. I was using a universal tint from a paint store but because it isn't alcohol based it won't mix too well with the Shellac and sometimes will just spit out solid particles when spraying it.

I was talking to Neil from U-Beaut at the wood show yesterday about the issue and he suggested trying an alcohol based tint. I haven't phoned any paint shops yet but I did come across a product called Mixol. 2005522

Has anyone used Mixol or can suggest another white tinting solution I can add to Shellac and will mix in properly?

And to those asking why I prefer to use a white tinted shellac instead of white paint? Well it's much quicker to recoat and easier to fix mistakes.

Used common hardware store white tint in estapol satin and matt oil base- thinned with turps-sprayed and finished with #320/#400 on a complete new pine matchboard/cedar/yarrah ceiling and walls house I've just completed.
Been told the milky white semi transparent french wash finish is the best ever seen-or felt- and its bullet proof!.....just took heaps of carefull work.....

Tried it with hard Shellac? Neil reckons it'd work, I asked about this a few months back.....decided not to tint in the end

No, I haven't tried tinting Hard Shellac due to being too dark and as I'm trying to create a white finish, I end up using blonde Shellac. But it still has the same issues as Hard Shellac is alcohol based.
