My late introduction
Hello everyone, I have been a member for some time but have been lazy in not introducing myself. I'm from Brisbane and currently attending woodworking classes as well as doing some of my own things at home. Enjoying it and starting from rough sawn timber through to finished works.
I was wondering whether anyone knows much about the Maleny Wood Expo this weekend (30/4 & 1/5). I am going up to see what is available for the first time.

Welcome to the forum, hope you are enjoying your classes. I don't know about the expo but I am sure it will be of some use. Cheers.

Hi and welcome to the forum. I went to the Maleny show a couple of years ago and it is quite small but friendly show. There are some interesting exhibits on show and some timber and products to buy. To me it was a bit small and didn't take up enough of my time but maybe it has increased in size this year. It is nothing like the Brisbane show being held in May but nevertheless, it makes a nice day out and you meet some nice people.
Reality is no background music.
Cheers John

Thanks very much, I thought it might be a small show, hopefully the weather holds out. I have already arranged to go the Brisbane show.

Are you going to be on the wood working forum stand? https://www.woodworkforums.com/f12/ca...is-www-134284/
Noticed that this person has started a thread on the Maleny Wood Show on this link. https://www.woodworkforums.com/f12/tv-add-134291/
