Microwaving Burr almost turned
I'll be finishing turning a burr vase type bowl like the attached but with lots of deep cuts in the side to so that when I nuke it the layers will warp, and hollowed at the same width as the entry. I've had instruction on how to nuke it but was just wondering what to finish it with? Would a soft wax be suitable or just leave it finely sanded?

Wax it, if you don't put some sort of sealer on the wood it will warp even more, also which in this case is probably more important, it will change colour over time, as it is hard wood it will darken.
When you "Nuke"it, make sure you weigh it before and during each time you present it to the microwave, Don't make the mistake of cooking it too fast or you will have a large crack appear somewhere.
Good luck.

Probably nuked to bits by now! Remember to use the defrost setting or you'll end up with a fire brigade call out account!
Whatever you do/did...........hope you enjoy/enjoyed it.
