Ozito. Is this the right category. Someone bought me a sander as a surprise, what a bloody joke it is a shocker, it spins up and the knob on the front broke when I put it down. Granted, I use Makita, Festo, Hitachi etc but this is just crap!!! Anyone starting out could be really put off.
My 2.2 cents worth including GST.
Stupidity kills. Absolute stupidity kills absolutely.

Yeah Iain, and I empathise with you in this regard. From what I have seen we're getting swamped with the f#@*ing crap from low labour cost producing countries to what I consider the detriment of the better class of tooling! My one concern is that the average toolperson out there will opt for this which will eventually diminish our choice in quality.I would'nt like to think that I'm selling the average Oz short but unfortunately the dollar will win out.
Of course one way to defeat this is to demand stringent hand on tests in the selling place!Oh yea you're in the right category, buying these tools would have to be a joke unfortunately!!
    Cheers

Everyone has a photographic memory, some just don't have film.
