Silky Oak table & fitted chairs
Hi all,
I have attached a pic of a table and chairs my wife aquired a few years ago. I would be grateful if anybody could give me a clue as to whether they were common or not, and possibly where it may have come from. I will get around to restoring it one day. An idea of its value would also be appreciated if anybody out there is familiar with this type of furniture.(edit: SWMBO tells me she bought it in Toowoomba and for "a few years ago" read in the '70's)Last edited by iron bark; 18th February 2011 at 08:58 PM. Reason: A bit more info on where it came from and when

I've never seen a table like this, but I think it's great!
Personally, I'd say it's worth restoring, but couldn't give you a $ figure at all.
