Silent you need to at least tell us who has guessed the right name in the wrong number. So far we have 6, 7 different nominations.

Isn't it how we play mastermind? You get a new clue each time.

Silent does this mean Squizzy guessed almost correctly or does it mean someone else guessed almost correctly.

OK, since you seem to want it on a platter, here are the guesses so far:

Hand 1: silentC, GemiBabe, Stuart Lees, HappyHammer, WoodBorer
Hand 2: Wongo, Landseka, Craigb, Kenmil, OzWinner
Hand 3: Zed, Sasha, Neil, silentC
Hand 4: , JackieW, OzWinner, Zed, Daddles

None of these are correct but one of the names above is in the group of four. If you eliminate the silly ones, then it narrows the field a bit. I can narrow the field a bit further by telling you that my hand is not one of the four pictured.

    One white peg.

    Now there's a serious conundrum.

If you have to eliminate the silly ones, the hands don't belong to members of this board???

Yes, and apart from the fact that I've already said none of them is me, I've only got two hands and only one of them is a right hand.

As far as I can tell, none of them belong to Edward Scissorhands, so that's another one we can cross off.

Is one of them Hands Christian Andersen??

Yes and Laura Palmer is in there too.

I dunno, you try to provide a bit of exercise for the grey matter, and what do you get?

Still only one white peg. Answers with the same person in all four spots will be ignored

Tomorrow I'll give black/white pegs for each answer. And another clue. Exciting isn't it? What's on telly tonight, Wongo?

Some of us are trying to work it out logically so keep giving us good clues but not giveaways otherwise the challenge is not challenging.

Can we ask what is written on the other side of the coasters?
