I believe the oldest team on record is out of sheffield. It's not either the blades or wednesday but I can't remember the teams name right now.

Think your right there Mathew, not sure which came first but I think it was sheffield wednesday and then sheffield united some years later. probably still got some of the original players in the team if you ask me.
