I can relate to that, I had some young guys using my Makita sanding a deck on a hot day, they almost cooked it and for a while the switch was sticky. Mostly even now I click the switch before plugging it in. One day about a year ago I plugged it in and saw it go spearing off the bench out through the roller door and across the lane into the neighbours fence. It had pulled the plug out about half way accross the lane but didn't even slow down. Glad no one was driving or wlaking by at the time.

I just knew there had to be a use for one of those things.
Reality is no background music.

Am I dreaming or did we really do this sort of thing in woodwork class at school in the 1970's? 1970's. That's what, lemme think, lemme think, that's ah, ah, 30 to 40 years ago.

Yes we did do that in school... even in my time at school that wasn't too long ago.
Tafe was more interesting though, teacher came back after taking a phone call to find about 1/2 the class were trying to shoot each other in the nuts with the air powered staple guns and justifying their actions as safe as they were wearing safety glasses! Then they complained when they had to finish the project with the hand powered ones, lol.
