G'Day from SE suburbs of melbourne
hi all,
i am a woodworking newbie (i have previously only made basic stuff)
i am planning on making some furniture and am hoping to start with some chunky bookcases.
i am looking for some advice and assistance with planning and sourcing reasonably priced timber and some basic router use ideas.....
does anybody live out my way?

Hi Darren and welcome to the madhouse. Post your question in the "Woodwork General" section of the forum and you should get plenty of advice.
Reality is no background music.
Cheers John

Welcome aboard. I'm on the peninsula, however it is no use asking me anything as I am just a newbie myself.
