Using attached Garage for renovation
Hi All,
We've got a double garage that from the out side is pretty much a part of the house. From the outside it just looks like someone has decided to put in a garage door instead of windows. Same roof, same walls, just doesn't have any of the internal walls or ceiling or floors.
With another baby coming shortly we are quickly running out of space and thinking of renovating.
Does anyone know if we can use all this existing structure and just add internal walls, ceiling and floors? And a couple of windows instead of the garage door of course...
There is already a carport next to the garage so all I would be losing is a bit of storage and my work bench () but would have enough room to add a master bedroom with ensuite and WIR.
Anyone got any advice?
thanks,
Andrew
