Buying 100 year old house
I am interested in buying a 100 yr old weatherboard home which has some need of replacing boards, it is on pylons, it has been renovated internally not externally. I am keen to know what are some of the important things to consider, when buying a house like this,e.g cost to fix pylons(and are they hard to fix? if they are in need of it (i am yet to do a building and pest inspection which will be done before any decisions are made). It has an external Laundry that appears to have some possible structural issues (looks like the corners are sinking a bit, very small building doesn't appear too severe tho). I tried to show a picture below don't know if it worked tho.
