    Default Wheelinround's schooldays

The teacher asked Ray "what would I have if I had 6 oranges in one hand and 6 apples in the other hand"?
    Ray's reply; Big hands Miss.

Rays father was angry at Ray, "Your teacher has wrote me a note saying that is is impossible to teach you anything."
Ray's reply; See I told you she was no good.

Ray's mum told Ray to go and say sorry to his teacher for telling her she was stupid, so Ray went to his teacher next day and said "Mum told me I had to tell you I'm am sorry you are stupid.

You know me to well John

Teachers say their charges are dumb.

Students spend 12 years learning so they can go to Teachers school, 4 years learning to become teachers, then they get sent

But while being teachers they still have to go and do courses to learn to teach.

Yet teachers have been known to tell students "If they don't know it now they never will"

The best thing I learned at School was all those people we were taught about who made the world what it is today, quit school early, didn't have a decent education but excelled in their own right.

I agree with you Ray, you know its funny really, a lady that goes to trivia on our team often says, she doesn't know why she bothered learning geography when she went to school, most of the countries she knew have changed their name.

I spent 12 years in school, 5 years in uni, 1 year in college, to find out I'd have been better off if I picked up a trade.

    and probably a lot happier.

I remember lots of girls at school, had a great education, got
married, and, would you believe ... changed their name too.

All my life I hated school. There was nothing that could do correctly according to my teachers.

Then in one moment everything changed. After I had retired, I took a Face Frame Cabinet Making class. I had really screwed up a miter joint at the corner of my cabinet. My instructor saw me struggling and came over to my work station. Then he said, "That's not exactly right, but let me show you how to fix it."
