Sydney Blue Gum on Alpine verandah
Hi Peoples,
I have recovered some Sydney Blue Gum from the roof trusses and wall studs from a lodge in the Snowy Mountains. The timber went in circa 1964.
I intend to make some short benches which will sit outside on a covered verandah during winter which means very cold climate and also occassional snow.
The advice I have so far, is to give them three coats of Sikken's CTOL HLS. Is there anything better?
Thanks in advance
