Trevor. I have allowed this thread to stay open because part of my business is repairing and fitting out motorhomes and I can't tolerate any one who gives the industry a bad name.
The thread even though locked will remain visible.
If anyone has a good response to actions being taken PM me and I will post it.
Thank you all for the decorum and restraint you have shown in your posts under very emotional and trying circumstances.

G'Day Mate,
I'm the one with your camper over hear in WA. There is no kitchen, no 12v system, camper top is on, but the attachment to the trailer is not good, no dust seals, number plate light is damaged, water pump not wired up or plumbed.
It will cost approx $1500.00- $1700.00 to freight to Perth then another $1200.00 from Perth to your nearest depot.
The quality build of this camper is would not last 1 week with our conditions hear.
I believe the Vic Police will contact us when the insurance company wants to transport it. Currently it is located in our yard collecting iron ore dust.
Hope Scott goes to goal and hopefully he meets Bubba and his mates as we have lost alot of money on this as we ordered a hard top camper.

A copper from Werribee Police rang us the other day and stated that Scott is now in Prison in Victoria. He is serving a 16 month sentence for a criminal matter. We tried to have the sherrif serve papers on him, but he couldn't be found (cause he was locked up) It would appear thta we have no chance of getting what is owed to us, as he has no assets at all. We have the option of taking him to court to face more criminal charges for fraud etc. If you could place a small post on the thread just to let people know that he is serving time, please?
I hope he is having trouble holding on to the soap in the showers... .

....Yes Scott Mackinnon has been Jailed for 16 Months in relation to the theft and fraud in relation to my Camper. least he got Jail time.
I eventually got my Insurance payout and went and bought a new one, from a legitimate seller and have been out a few times with it.
There were other Campers that he had Stolen and tried to on Sell But im not sure what has happened in relation to them wether this sentence is for it all, but from what I know and went through only a small number of people including myself gave Police Statements.
Suppose next time a guy tries to sell like this on Ebay or Anywhere, that people just need to be carefull. Get as many details as possable on who your dealing with especially if there Backyard ppl.
Thanx to those who have told their shocking stories involving Scott and their Campers But I wont be posting anymore Im going travelling very soon with my Camper..

Wow. That is great news. I really thought he was going to get away with it without punishment.
Best of luck for those who were unlucky enough to get bitten.

southern star campers
That is outstanding
yes i guess i was one of the lucky ones after so many drama's but i believe the trailer we ended up with (although it originally wasn't suppose to be ours) ended up being stolen from my work place a few weeks ago along with many other items that was in it
end result was insurance paid out and now i have a new one again
must admit trailer and tent was ok , trailer needed a lot of work to bring it up to speed but tent was good
in fact every time we used it i wanted to throw empty beer cans at it as all it did was remind me of squiddly diddly
so now i have a new GIC extreme off road and i have also lost that urge to throw things at it
hope Scott get's split from his lower body region all the way up to the back of his neck .
i hear bubba likes little boys like him

Just as an aside, members of campertrailers.org will know of the increasing rate of thefts, partic. in SE Qld., as an organised effort. Guys roll up with battery powered grinders and cut through chains and locks in a matter of minutes.
Apologies for the diversion.Cheers, Ern

Thanks for the heads up Ern.
I'll pass this info on to friends etc.
BTW...I love my Ryobi battery angle grinder. So bloody handy for when you don't want to run an extension lead out.Hooroo.
