I hear the distant reeeeree from a chainsaw
Taking a moment to contemplate life the universe and everything (sitting on the loo)
I heard the constant cry of a chainsaw
hmmm, tree loppers somewhere
nah I won't go and look, I got enuff wood,
hmmm, sounds like that's a big tree, oh all right I'll go and look, got there nearly too late with all the huummmming and arring, but for a bit of fence wire and too heavy for loppers to lift I would have missed out all together, anyway ended up with a couple of chunks of raintree, so I milled them up into 50 and 100mm thick slabs.....only 2 nials
, pics...

Biggest problem I have with Rain Tree is the end grain tears so I tend to do the last bit of shaping with the 80grit gouge.... that does cause a LOT of dust.
