Default What Laquer should I use

    Hi All,
Im putting new jarrah raised panel doors in my kitchen. Im looking to spray the doors with laquer like Mirotone or the like. Im after a satin finish which will withstand all the attacks a kitchen can throw at it. Can anyone advise on what products I can use to achieve the above criteria. Also what size spray nozzle I'll need to use for the spray gun. Thanks in advance.

    Regards
    Danny

    Default Mirotone

    Hi Danny,

a good start would be Mirocat PC 3220 in a 30% gloss. Go to the Mirotone website, they have a very comprehensive site with all the Data sheet stuff and spraying techniques etc. You can even give them a call and they will help you out.

    Hi Danny,

I`ve been using the Becker Acroma DM 307 for a couple of months now, it`s a great product and i highly recomend it.

I`m using a 2mm nozzle on a HVLP gun at about 25psi, depending on the temperature i mix the Laquer/thinners/hardner at 10/6/1.

    Hope this helps,

    cheers
    Brad
