What wood is this?
I have heavly painted 300mm high skirting boards in my old house that dates back to 1912.
Other skirting boards in house appear untouched from originals.
I am not sure what wood this is.
I have enclosed two pics.
1st is the original
2nd is the stripped back sample.
The boards look identical in wood type.
