    Default New job

    Hello there,
Just thought I'd share some big news, well for me anyway! After nearly 20yrs in the same department (visual arts) at uni, I have a new job, starting middle of next month. Not a huge change in some ways- move two offices away, and the workshop connects to the other one- but a promotion and working in theatre and music dept mostly, as Production Manager! I get to build sets and props for stage productions, teach students that sort of stuff, and organise a big touring event, Shakespeare in the Park. So lots of admin and the like, more than I have been doing, so looking fwd to the challenge.
And I'll still have access to the workshop I've built up, as we share a lot of resources!

    Cheers,
    Andy Mac

    Good luck with it Andy

I start my new position on Monday, after 5 weeks off , back into management in lieu of project management.
