Apprentice Furniture Maker Noob
Hey all, I just came out of the bush from somewhere in WA and i've just started an apprenticeship in furniture making and love it. I'm doing a personal project at RMIT and im gonna do a Smoke box/Billtong Box and im gonna make it out of solid oak or Jarrah, Ventilation fans, a termostat, smokebox at the bottom and heat light at 1000 * 600 * 600. I'm just wondering about the finish i should use like maybe a beezwax with a buffing oil and would Jarrah be a wise choice?
Any thoughts
