Instead of responding to the said dribble, a recipe for pancakes was offered instead.
Probably because it made as much sense?
Anyway, that's my understanding. But then again, I could be talking dribble. :eek:

In the beginning, the forum was a dark and troubled place. But lo, the Sawdust Gods looked down and felt concern. So they gave holy inspiration to a member of the breatheren ... who didn't bother to read the instruction manual and started rabbitting about pancakes instead :mad: . Sadly, we are now stuck with the rite of the mutilated pancake. :confused: But that's cool, because the Gods had no more idea about what they were doing than we ever do - they are woodworkers afterall.
Cheers

IMHO pancakes are best eaten with sugar and lemon juice or with Tate and Lyle golden syrup *( sorry guys but Australian syrup is yeuch - has a real nasty aftertaste !! ).
I can never decide which I like best so the easiest course is to have some with each
* some safeway stores in the Melbourne area stock it.no-one said on their death bed I wish I spent more time in the office!

Not 3wishing to stir things up but I prefer flap-jacks.
If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

It was (is) actually National Pancake Day and $2.00 from any pancake bought today goes to charities supporting Aussie Kids who are not so well off. Various organisations have been flogging pancakes around the place. Should be something on the ABC website under Radio National.
I had this day bookmarked and reminders set but I didn't turn on my confuzer this morning only SWMBO's machine before I popped out at 5.30 this morning.
More information on pancakes can be found in Page nine of the following;
