Do I need a Roof Plumber - part B
The other thread was closed. I am new here and have no idea why this was the case!
An Interesting read re Victoria's laws and extra costs associated in our State. Did shed some light on my query, I thank all those who commented.
JUST AN EXTRA NOTE-
I was given two quotes one of $10,900 & another of $12,600 for a completed job, supply and install. The quotes didn't give me a breakdown of labour & materials just an overview price per section eg, Roofing, Guttering etc
So I did a take off and went to a couple of suppliers and found Tradelink to be the cheapest, my overall costs for materials was around $4,500 cut to order and delivered.
I know it will take a few guys to put it up, but I reckon thats a pretty good margin on the labour. Not to mention a possible trade discount in the materials the roofing joints may have in place.
