I picked up a wood dresser with about a million coats of paint - I started stripping it with the polystripper harsh chemical. It still needed a few spot touches on the top, which I tried to deal with with a water based stripper instead. Big mistake. Now there are darker stains where the water based stripper was. Is there some way to fix that? I don't want to sand it down too much, and all I can think to do is coat the whole top with the waterbased stripper so its evenly stained. Any advice appreciated.
