Dense Eucalypts
Hi Folks,
I was wondering if anyone could tell me about several dense Eucalypts. By that I mean; color, workability, availability of defect free timber, available sizes and anything that you may have made with these timbers. The Eucalypts that I am speaking about are five from Western Australia:
E. platycorys
E. nigrifunda
E. fraseri
E. transcontinentalis
E. terebra
I have managed to acquire samples of E. nigrifunda and E. transcontinentalis. The thing that I like about them both is that their color is relatively light for timbers of such high density.Last edited by Runge; 29th August 2010 at 09:51 AM. Reason: Misspelling
