    Default Presents for the grandchildren

I love to work with wood and decided to carve a rocking horse for our unborn grandchild.
As parts of the horse were shaped, my intentions became clear to my next-door neighbor.
"You must be about to have a grandchild," he called over to me.

    "Our first," I replied, beaming.

"I have six," he went on. "After the first two, you'll buy something plastic at K-Mart."

ah well not to worry, I have two, we bought our first an heirloom rocking horse ($2,000.00) already roughly 20 plus years old, the second we bought a huge heirloom doll-house with all furniture (he turned out to be a boy OUCHHH!!!!) my niece (daughter really) has just become pregnant with her second so I look upon them as my "other" grand-kids, I think something special is warranted, never mind I'm back out in the shed knocking up the wooden toys as fast as I can produce them, I think all the kids are special!
    G'day I'm Dave!
