    Here's a list of country codes used in barcodes. The first 3 numbers indicate country of origin, something to think about next time you're in the supermarket, or shopping in general.

    I used to look for the 93s but it became more like searching for the needle in a haystack.

    Consumer goods labelling is a PITA. Just be aware that goods can be imported and then relabelled. Im not sure about other goods but food has to be labelled with country of origin.
