I'm certain there's a section in the act that covers "sawing on milk crates"

cause there's one on extension cords on the floor that I got picked up on
( where else are extension cords supposed to go?)
Hung up on the tops of doors and various other items, anyware between neck and ankle height so that other workers can't avoid them.

I saw a plasterer once that had a "step ladder" made from 3 milk crates cable tided together. I thought it was great, at least he didn't pinch my ladder every time i turned around like most of them do.

I'm also against cars being driven on footpaths, and their drivers expecting you to get out of their way (bicycle envy, methinks).

push bike riders that ride on the road and run red lights.

push bike riders that ride across bridges clearly sign posted "pedestrians and bicycles prohibited".

push bike riders (bike couriers) that break the road rules then ride up malls to avaid the police.

Well that illustrates perfectly just what can happen when you think.

How @#^!^& arrogant is it. Those idiots seem to say, "this is what I'm going to do and you can all get *^%#^&ed, you cant run me over because you probably suffer that normal human condition of not wanting to hurt strangers, :thumbnose:"
I forgot how much they irked me,
I ride a motorbike and sometimes ride on the inside and occasionally in the middle, but I'm always 3 times as fast as the nearest car. Have car drivers ever got out of the car and stood in the middle of a traffic snarl. It's toxic and should be avoided at all costs, hence the motorbike riders need to get throuigh / around other vehicles.

Idiots who think that just because they have a car, cyclists should get out of their way. I've seen lots of traffic jams caused by cars, but none caused by cyclists.

I have been a cyclist, motorbike and heavy vehicle.

AlexS What is all the fight about cyclists in Sydney City then, couriers mainly, try stopping 30t of coach when one darts out in front with less than 1m to stop

As to traffic jams.... travel the Old Pacific Hwy, Geat Western Hwy, Princess Hwy when cyclists believe its their right to ride on any Sunday with no regard to how much road they use, speed limits indicated.

Is it Allex that your in the squad of riders not behind stuck in a car that you don't see the traffic jam.

I'm sure anyone living in Melbourne's Eastern Bayside suburbs has had to put up with this:

    Attachment 144323 Attachment 144324 Attachment 144325 Attachment 144326

It's not just on weekends either, but during the week in peak period.

My wife travels from Bayside Melbourne to the City every day and on inclement days (when there are few to zero cyclists on the road), her travel time is virtually halved.

Cyclists should be taxed in line with other road users. Laws governing their use should also be regulated and vehemently enforced.

I won't stand aside on a footpath to let a cyclist by and on more than one occasion I have been berated for doing so and one rider repeatedly rammed the back of my legs with his wheel because I refused to heed his frantic bell-ringing. He later managed to salvage what was left of his mangled bicycle off the road.

And they should have to display a number plate like any other road user.

That should help to modify their behaviour.

Police in Vic have been targeting cyclists running red lights and it is showing results, I have actually seen cyclists stop at a red light
