    I think the one I used to have was made by Record, but it may have been Stanley. At any rate, the chrome plating kept peeling off and slicing my fingers. As I remember, it was an awkward thing to hold (in my big hands) and as I now have hands like feet, I thought the Veritas version – with its large, positional handle – would be advantageous.

    You will find it a handy tool WW that will get plenty of use
