Extending a Loungeroom on Pillars
Back again...
Thanks for all your suggestions regarding the termite damaged place we were looking to buy. We have definitely written that idea off.
We are now looking at an old fibro cottage "In need of a facelift" as the agent puts it...
So I am wondering how much we could expect to pay per square meter for wall frames (are they called "joists" for walls?)... Sorry - I am a complete n00b to the renovators game!
Basically the place needs a lounge room addition (5 x 5m) and I am trying to collect some indicative pricing....
So far I have costed the Joists & Bearers at $30/m2. Floorboards at around $75/m2. But I am not sure of what spacing and type of timber we would need to use for the wall frames.
Any help would be great!
Cheers Again!
